Flexiply
Flexible plywood (flexiply or bendy ply) is a type of plywood that can be curved in one direction. It is created by pressing and glueing a number of thin layers of wood veneer together, where the grains are perpendicular to the direction of the curve.
A number of layers are needed to create a product that is thick enough to give it some self strength, though it is generally used as a facing material for interiors and finishes but not structirally. The two outer layers are normally slightly thicker, with thinner inner layers, and it is most commonly made from hardwood veneers but may also contain some softwood within the core layers.
