In June 2022 we celebrated 10 years of Designing Buildings; its aim was to put construction industry knowledge in one place and make it available to everyone free. In the past 12 years, 18,000 articles have been added to the site covering a variety of topics covering planning, design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of built assets. There are over 6,000 definitions and 4,000 acronyms, making it one of the broadest resources of information for construction that is updated daily.
The site has been used by over 45 million people from every part of the industry and from every part of the world, and we continue to provide the site available for free and on the basis of knowledge sharing, with around 120 million page views.
