[edit] Profile
University of Central London (UCL) was formed in 1826 with a bold and radical agenda, and that spirit is alive and well today at The Bartlett. Their vision is of a world where everything that's built aims to add to the well-being of people and the environment.
Through education, ideas and research that are inventive, forward-thinking and cross-disciplinary, The Bartlett seek to encourage more innovative, collaborative responses to the world's challenges from those involved in the creation of our cities, towns and settlements.
As one of the oldest but most radical faculties of its kind, The Bartlett has built a reputation for education and research that draws students and academics from across the world.
The schools and sections operate at the leading edge of ten distinct fields from architecture, planning and spatial analysis to energy, project management and development in the global south.
Together, they offer a network for collaboration and a way of looking at issues and challenges that is unique in built environment education and research.
