Aviation
Net Zero by 2050, A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector, published by the International Energy Agency in May 2021, states in relation to aviation: ‘This transport mode includes both domestic and international flights and their use of aviation fuels. Domestic aviation covers flights that depart and land in the same country; flights for military purposes are also included. International aviation includes flights that land in a country other than the departure location.’
