Fire safety training
Setting the bar. A new competence regime for building a safer future. The Final Report of the Competence Steering Group for Building a Safer Future, published in October 2020, defines fire safety training as: ‘Formal training provided to employees, with the objective of imparting sufficient information on the relevant fire risks, fire prevention measures, fire protection measures and fire procedures in the building to ensure the safety of employees from fire.’
