Wrap
In its broadest sense, the word 'wrap' refers to the process of covering or enclosing an object in a flexible material such as paper, bubble wrap, polythene and so on.
In the construction industry, 'wrap' may also refer to:
- Waste and Resources Action Programme.
- 'A pipe closure device that is usually wrapped around the pipe, located within the fire-separating element and acts as a restraint for the intumescent material.' Ref Firestopping of service penetrations, Best practice in design and installation, published by FIS (Finishes and Interiors Sector) in 2020.
- Building wraps.
- Packaging.
