Strong AI

In June 2021, BSRIA published the white paper, 'Artificial Intelligence in Buildings (WP 14/2021)' written by Henry Lawson. It states: ‘Strong AI, also sometimes called artificial general intelligence (AGI), relates to an intelligence that can be applied to an indefinite number of scenarios in the same sort of general way that human intelligence can be applied. Any machine capable of passing the Turing test could be described as possessing strong AI, because it would be giving apparently intelligent answers to a range of questions that it couldn’t predict.’
