Rotary actuators
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, suggests that: ‘Rotary actuators can be connected to the shaft of a damper or rotary shoe valve directly or by using a special linkage kit. There are also linkage kits to allow rotary actuators to connect to lift and lay valves. Rotary actuators are powered by a switched or pulsed 24 V AC or 230 V AC supply. They are also available as a modulating actuator with a 0-10 V DC or 4-20 mA positioning signal and a 24 V AC power supply.’
