[edit] Introduction
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) is sponsored by the Renewable Energy Association and administered by its subsidiary, Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd.
[edit] History
The organisation was formed in 2006. Its objective is to protect consumers of small-scale renewable and low carbon heat or power generating systems.
Members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code must comply with the organisation's Consumer Code, which is designed to assist domestic consumers with the vendor selection process.
