Refurbishment and demolition survey
Asbestos Legal Requirements And Best Practice For Property Professionals And Clients, 4th Edition, published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in May 2021, defines a refurbishment and demolition survey as: ‘A type of asbestos survey that builds upon the management survey. The survey needs to be specifically designed to ensure that it is appropriate for the refurbishment and/or demolition of a building.’
