Gopura

A gopura (also referred to as gopuram) is a monumental entrance of a Hindu temple. It is typically ornate and is sometimes fashioned as a gateway or tower.
It is a feature of Dravidian architecture and is most frequently found in Southern India, although they also appear in Khmer architecture, such as Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
