Bee brick
Biodiversity in new housing developments: creating wildlife-friendly communities, published by the NHBC Foundation in April 2021 defines a bee brick as: ‘A fabricated brick with different sized small diameter holes for solitary bees, integrated into walls at between 1.2m and 2m from the ground on sunny elevations close to nectar rich plants.’
