Live investigations of false fire alarms, written by Raman Chagger and published by BRE in December 2015 suggests that a Fire Risk Assessor is:
‘A suitably qualified individual that performs an assessment of the fire risks to occupants in and around a building to ensure that they are safe from the risk of fire and its effects.’
