Potential owner
The Home Quality Mark One, Technical Manual SD239, England, Scotland & Wales, published by BRE in 2018, suggests that for the purpose of the Home Quality Mark, the ‘potential owner’:
…will vary depending on the type of project and nature of the home’s ownership. Essentially it refers to anyone who will own the home, once it is completed and handed over, including:
The purpose of this is to ensure that the home owner is given the opportunity to ensure they are satisfied with the home that will be their responsibility after construction. |
