Flammable
The term flammable refers to: ‘A combustible substance (solid, liquid, gas or vapour), which is easily ignited in air. The term non-flammable refers to substances what are not easily ignited but does not necessarily indicate that they are non-combustible.’ Ref Containment systems for the prevention of pollution, Secondary, tertiary and other measures for industrial and commercial premises (CIRIA C736), published by CIRIA in 2014.
