Natural pollutant
The glossary of statistical terms, published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), defines a natural pollutant as: ‘…a pollutant created by substances of natural origin such as volcanic dust, sea salt particles, photochemically formed ozone, and products of forest fibres, among others.’
