User signature
Registered users can insert their user signature at the end of articles for which they are the main author. The user signature creates a link to the user’s ‘page about me’ and the user's profile then appears at the top of the article.
To insert your user signature, first you must log in. Then go to the article, click 'Edit this article' and move the cursor position to the end of the article. Click the insert signature button.
When you save the article, your user signature will appear automatically, linked to your page about me, and your profile will appear at the top of the article.
You can see our signature at the bottom of this article, and our profile at the top.
If an article already exists, and you significantly develop it, you can still add your signature, even though you didn't create it. If it already has a user signature from a previous author, but you develop the article substantially, so that you are the main author, you can delete the existing signature and insert your own. The previous author's details will still appear in the article history.
