Fire fatalities in Scotland and recommendations to help reduce them - Final Phase: Review of Fire Investigation reports, written by Raman Chagger and published by BRE in 2020, describes a home fire safety visit (HFSV) as: ‘…a visit to people homes performed by the SFRS during which they assess fire safety, wellbeing and lifestyle issues that might impact on personal safety.’
