Priority habitat
Biodiversity in new housing developments: creating wildlife-friendly communities, published by the NHBC Foundation in April 2021 defines priority habitat as a: ‘Government list of threatened terrestrial and freshwater habitat types and in need of conservation, referred to as Habitats of Principle Importance. Each UK country has its own listing.’
