PAS 91
PAS 91: 2013 Construction pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) replaces PAS 91: 2011. Developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI), it is a standardised pre-qualification questionnaire utilised in the UK construction industry to evaluate the suitability of contractors and suppliers for construction projects.
It covers essential areas such as health and safety, financial standing, environmental management, and quality management. By completing PAS 91, contractors and suppliers showcase their compliance with regulations and industry standards, aiding clients in their assessment of suitability. This specification streamlines procurement by standardising pre-qualification requirements, reducing duplication of effort, and promoting consistency and transparency in supplier selection.
PAS 91 sets out the questions and responses used for supplier assessment, ensuring governance, qualifications, expertise, competence, health and safety, environmental, financial, and other essential capabilities are adequately addressed.
