ICMS: Global Consistency in Presenting Construction Life Cycle Costs and Carbon Emissions, 3rd edition, November 2021, published by the ICMS (International Cost Management Standard) Coalition, defines real discount rate as: The factor or rate used to relate present and future money values in comparable terms, not taking account of general or specific inflation in the cost of a particular asset (ISO 15686-5).’
