Premises Information Box
Code of Practice for the Provision of Premises Information Boxes in Residential Buildings, Version 1, published in December 2020 by the Fire Industry Association (FIA) and the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), defines a Premises Information Box (PIB) as: ‘A secure enclosure for the storage of the ERP (Emergency Response Pack) which is accessible to the FRS (Fire and Rescue Service) and RP (Responsible Person). It contains plans and building information of importance to the fire and rescue service on attendance at a block of flats in the event of fire or other emergency.’
