An integrated command and control centre (ICCC) is often be referred to in the context of smart cities, defined in PAS 180: 2014 Smart Cities as a city where '...the effective integration of physical, digital and human systems in the built environment to deliver a sustainable, prosperous and inclusive future for its citizens.' One approach in achieving this goal is to develop a central point within the city that can monitor (and potentially control) activities in real time across the city.
