RICS Valuation – Global Standards, Effective from 31 January 2022, Published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in November 2021, defines goodwill as: ‘Any future economic benefit arising from a business, an interest in a business, or from the use of a group of assets that is not separable.’
