BEAMA
BEAMA is a non-for-profit trade association for manufacturers and providers of energy infrastructure products and systems.
Established in the United Kingdom in 1902, BEAMA was initially called the National Electrical Manufacturers' Association. It changed its name to the British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers' Association in 1911.
The organisation is now known solely by its initials - BEAMA. It divides its activities into four target areas: heating and ventilation, building electrical systems, flexible energy systems and networks.
The organisation represents more than 200 companies that create low carbon energy products and environmental services. Its members work to support the safe and efficient delivery of their products and services to individual consumers, businesses and infrastructure clients throughout the UK.
