Design Framework for Building Services 5th Edition (BG 6/2018), written by David Churcher, John Sands & Martin Ronceray, and published by BSRIA in June 2018 defines building services concept schematics as: ‘Line diagrams indicating main items of plant and their relationships, including with incoming services and utilities, in such detail as to illustrate the incorporation of the engineering services within the project as a whole.’
