Investigation of moisture and its effects on traditional buildings
The IHBC is a supporting partner in the new Joint Position Statement on ‘Investigation of moisture and its effects on traditional buildings: Principles and Competences’ (‘JPS2022’), to be launched on 22nd September.
John Edwards, IHBC Technical Panel Chair, who will represent the IHBC at the launch, said: ‘At last, we will have a document that ensures that moisture in buildings will be dealt with consistently and properly including related issues regardless of where you are in the sector.’
IHBC member Duncan Philips, who led the development of this critical new resource said: ‘I can’t stress enough that this document really does have the potential to make a positive change in the way that the professions and trades inspect buildings.’
